My GitHub looked healthy. The business didn't.

Green squares made me feel productive while I avoided the hard parts.

Some nights I’d ship until 2am and screenshot the contribution graph like it meant something. The code was real. The company still needed follow-ups I didn’t want to send.

Building Algility made that obvious. A clean PR doesn’t collect. A reply from a buyer does.

I still write a lot of code. I just don’t use commits as proof the business is fine. If I haven’t talked to a customer that week, I’m kidding myself.
